When did you start drawing?
I drew a lot when I was a little kid but it dropped off for a while (I've always written a lot though). I'd say I started studying it somewhere between 9 and 10 years ago.

Which is easier to draw - male or female?
I can do either one just fine

Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Short hair. I'm not a hair person though so it's a drag either way.

Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
either way

Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
3/4 view

What do you have problems in drawing?
Things that are boring to me

What do you like to draw?
Things that convey a story.

Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Both. More digital these days because it's more fun

What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I don't know that I have one that I'm aware of

What do you keep in mind when you do lineart?
Where the hilights are (that=where the line gets thinner)

Any tips for coloring/shading?
Learn color theory. Don't copy crappy internet tutorials.

How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
I've gotten really slow as of recent times because I'm a little out of practice. It really depends what it is though.

What music do you listen to while you draw?
I don't like music while I draw, just ambient noise (TV, cars, leaves rustling, whatever)

How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
I usually have to have an idea before I start working or nothing happens. Ideas are copious though (99% of the time), even if they're just little "I want to draw people kissing" things

Your favorite drawing utensils?
Depends what kind of drawing. For character art/illustration/comics I like crow quill nibs and waterproof india ink and/or mechanical pencil. For figure/observational drawing I like natural red chalk or conte pencils. Then there's always the tablet + photoshop or OC (for anything)

Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
brown, lol

Your favorite style(s)?
Right now I'm more into drawing than painting, so anything that's well-observed (doesn't necessarily have to be realistic) and kind of graphic is appealing. I like a little of everything though.

Are you satisfied with your current art?
I'm happy with the direction I'm taking it. I'm very unhappy with my production lately but I'm working on fixing that.

What kind of artist are you aiming for?
As in, what kind of artist am I trying to be? I just want to tell stories. That's when I feel like I'm doing real work and not just playing with art supplies.
